Fee Schedule
The Idea Now standard flat fee is $100, which covers 1-2 hours of consultation — everything a company or individual will need to get off and running with a new product, concept or service.
We will walk you from conception to product launch, marketing and sales – including detailed advice on how to build the right team of professionals, vendors and other service providers to support you and help guarantee your success. Specifically, our one-on-one consultations will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Why building the right ‘dream team’ is so critical – and how to assess and find the best service providers
- The “pie” theory: what it is, how it applies to you
- Developing a viable business plan
- How to gain credibility (with investors, the public and potential customers) and how to maximize the usefulness of the contacts you make and relationships you forge
- How to directly reach the key decision-makers without being screened and/ or dismissed by the ‘door-keepers’
- Politics and diplomacy is everything; how to finesses your base
- How to find critical information about people or organizations with whom you may partner or whom you may hire
- How and where to find “angel” (key) investors – the ever-critical art of fundraising!
- The patenting process – how to do it, what it costs and how best to protect your intellectual property
Consultation is conducted in a casual, one-on-one setting by a proven, successful inventor. This relaxed, conversational format encourages questions and the introduction of virtually any topic of interest to inventors (including how to troubleshoot in the face of problems, troubles or concerns – whether legal, bureaucratic, professional or interpersonal). Sessions generally last one hour each, and can be held according to the client’s preferred schedule (i.e. each weekday, twice a week, mornings, afternoons, evenings, etc.)
